Title says it all. Been trying to do some revision lately, but it goes so slowly. I get lost in my mind if theres nothing else to distract me :S

Went out today with my Dad to find a new suit for this weekend. Two of my friends are getting married, so I decided it was a good excuse to get a new suit. My old is getting a little…..tight…..

The new amp is awesome to play, sorting out some soundproofing tomorrow. Going to get some carpet from a charity shop, cut it into strips and stick egg boxes on it. The egg boxes improve the acoustics of the room, and the carpet should absorb the sound to stop it going through the walls. Need to do more practice, Ive not done alot lately. Infact, I havent done much of anything apart from watch films / tv.

Might write a post on the situation with Iran and our sailors later. I think we should send in the SAS and sort them out - Iran really is acting like a playground bully - the fat kid noone really likes.

Just got back from spending seceral days at a mate’s from uni. All of us (from our circle) but one went down to his for a few days. I arrived tuesday night with another guy and everyone else came down on wedesday. Wednesday night out host threw a large party, inviting loads of his mates from the area. Needless to say we were far more wrecked than all his mates Highlights included my friend’s shoes being thrown out the window and someone trying to start a fight with me because of a misheard ‘your mum’ joke. Quite a funnny incident lol.

Thursday was spent chillin’. We went bowling, then back to his, watched a film or two, got some fish n chips. Really good time

Alas, now I must work very hard for hte rest of the week. Will take a few breaks to play with a band Ive organised for the holidays - were going to play and record a cover of Sonic 2. Me on lead

So I got back from York yesterday. The P-unit arrived at 1040 and we got back to London at 1745 - Long time lol. My friend was having his stag night, go karting. So my parents dropped my off there.

There were 25 people go karting - I managed to rank 20th overall hehe.

Woke up this morning and rearranged my room so I could fit my guitar amp in. It sounds amasing My mate came round this afternoon for a jam on it. Good fun.

Tomorrow - might be playing some football. Need to buy some new jeans too. Going to look at the external hard drives in Maplin’s - Ive heard they have a good deal on.

So bored :S

Just got back from playing in the University Octopush nationals this weekend - had so much fun (even though we came last!).

We left on Friday at 12ish, got there (Plymouth) about 8. Checked into out hotel and preceeded to go out and find food. Ate at hte Blues Bar and Grill - has good live music, nice food, but overpriced. I was left hungry after a main course so I got some chips It was then onto the pub to talk tactics (and to explain to me how proper games work!).

Early up the next day - we had to be there for 9. We were the first team to play  - we played against the Oxbridge joint team. And lost

There were ten teams in two groups of 5. Everyone in a group played everyone else, then teams in the same position in each group played each other for a final ranking. ie last team from group A played hte last team from group B for 9th and 10th place.

We played 4 games with 2 hours inbetween each. A game consisted of 8 minutes each way, and we substiuted after every goal. I was playing forward / back midfield (midpool?). There were 3 of us playing midfield, rotating after each goal.

There was then a 25 minute break, when everyone got in the pool and mucked around. Laughs all round. Then we played Bangor for 9th / 10th place, and got 10th

After that we hotfooted it back, quick shower, before heading over to the Plymouth SU for the awards (we got a runners up prize !) and drinks. We won the boat race, and drank more than anyone else, and stayed longer in the club!

Left the hotel this morning at 10 (The Crambourne, very nice, great service - recomended) and started the long (8 hour) journey home.

As a bonus I completed most of my programming assignment on the journey - thanks to my wonderful magic box. BTW Maple is a shit mathematical language. Going to try mathematica overEaster.

Off to the pub for dinner

At 25 to twelve, writing a blog update (btw just noticed wordpress have once again changed the looks of their text entry box - or linux has gone funky).

Im off to play in the octopush nationals tomorrow, so I have to finish all my problem questions tonight. Were going from York to Plymouth (opposite ends of England) and a coach - a nice 8 hour ride.

As for work - Ive almsot finished this weeks problem questions, but I have coding, stars and planets questions, a 3000 word report and a poster left to do. Coding can be done on the bus on the way to the game. Ill do most of hte S+P tonight and finish it on the bus. The poster I will finish tonight (will post on here when its done) and the report I’ll start on the bus ride back.

And I have to pack tonight All im taking is some clothes and my laptop (a few chargers…but thats pretty standard).

Anyway, the work must go on!

Couldnt think of a decent title for this…meh.

I’ve been very busy recently, lots of deadlines are approaching. Ive got a Maple project (stupid program) to hand in next week, and a set of questions for my stars and planets module. This is ontop of my usual workload. I also have work to do on the group project. Ive decided to do the poster and powerpoint (the easy bits :D).

Ordered a few new CDs of the tinternet - One by Shadow Gallery and the other by Mr Big. Hopefully theyll have arrived by this afternoon

Last night I was intending to get a lot of work done, but ended playing risk instead. Very good game, came in second Then we (my housemates and I) did a bit of drinking while playing the deal or no deal chocolates game, just playing the forfeits, before going off to play hide n seek in the quiet area. It was made more interesting by one of my friends from the OTC bringing his camoflage paint with him. Everyone ended up wearing it

Plans for today - work, buy food, work, guitar, octopush, work, guitar. Blah.

From a night on the  town. Listening to some   PPK and Boston. S’all good. One place we went to had 4  shots for £5.   I was the only person to take advantage. So  I win. Will do a sober update tomorrow.
