A business using dial up !!!!!!
Checked the letter box today, and there was a letter personally adressed to me. So I opened it, and it was a form letter with my name handwritten at the top. Turns out its from a driving school called 'safe driving for life'. Curious to find out where they got my name from, I give them a call.
I was greeted by a sound I thought Id never hear again, the chirrups and squeals of a dial up connection !!!
Ill let them off for getting my name / adress from some dubious source, as any business using dial up is a joke =p
Edit – To all yo beatches, I rang the only number on the page, that was marked phone number, not fax. And would fax make those noises ???
Mayby u called the fax line …..??
My stepdad is still on dial up …. drives my BF nuts. BF got my aunt on to broadband – both are v. pleased.
haha, its cheaper to get broadband aswell now, and so much more useful !
ah you see, my stepdad is of the generation:
My computer is still working, no need to get a new one.
That computer is from 1999 – is gonna take a few more years before he gets on the band wagon of broadband
hehe, one day…
yeah fax would make the same noises
